What do you know about Cardiology? In medical terms, this is the medical specialty dealing with the disorders of the human heart and in this field it includes diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects as follows:

• Coronary artery disease – the heart cannot receive enough oxygen and nutrients from the blood.
• Heart failure (Cardiac arrest) – failure in proper construction of the heart
• Vascular heart disease
• Electrophysiology

Those physicians who are specialized in this field are called Cardiologists. This is different from cardiac surgeons, cardiothoracic and cardiovascular which pertains to surgeons who perform cardiac surgery via sternotomy. The normal functionality of the heart and the deviation from a healthy heart are the most concerned by the Cardiology.

There are many disorders occupy the heart itself but some are outside. In most cases, people are unaware or fail to recognize the main grounds of such disorder or failures.
